These are two of my current projects. The 'Commuter' boat is a larger than usual scale for me
but it has generated many interesting challenges and has been a real pleasure to build. The client owns the original vessel
which afforded me the rare opportunity of actually being able to measure the subject myself!
The
Colonial Schooner is one of a pair of opposing American war of Independence ships for a client in the midwest. The other model (shown
on GALLERY3) is of a British 6th rate frigate. They are both built to the same scale and the contrast in armnament and
complexity of the two vessels makes for a fascinating display.
